Michael Fabiano is the founder and owner of Fabiano Law Firm, P.C., based in San Diego County, California. In his more than 25 years of legal practice, he has extensive experience in patent litigation and prosecution, complex business litigation, trademark litigation, trade secret litigation, and intellectual property licensing and counseling. He has also advised clients and litigated cases on Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) access issues. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, and both individuals and corporations, during his long legal career. He has twice been named one of “San Diego’s Top Attorneys” by San Diego Metro magazine.
He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals, Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and all state and federal courts in California. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
In 1993-1994, Mr. Fabiano served as law clerk to U.S. District Judge Linda H. McLaughlin, Central District of California. Mr. Fabiano worked as a research chemist prior to attending law school, and he is a co-inventor of a patented process for the recovery of a precious metal (U.S. Patent No. 5,654,458).
